Since its inception in 1933, the
Pickering Horticultural Society has been enthusiastic about
beautifying our community. We are proud to educate and inspire our
members and to work with the City of Pickering in its "Pickering
Blooms" program.

The Pickering
Horticultural Society's Web Site is intended to provide
you with information about the Pickering Horticultural Society and our
activities.
We are a group of
enthusiastic, helpful, generous people who consider gardening an
enjoyable, fulfilling activity. We aim to provide inspiration and
education to all members, regardless of their level of experience.
The Pickering Horticultural
Society is a not-for-profit organization that offers its members an
opportunity to meet and socialize with people with common interest -
gardening and plants, whether trees and shrubs, flowers, vegetables, house
plants, floral design or the environment. Together we learn the art of
gardening through speakers and workshops, gaining knowledge form each
other and sharing what we learn. We encourage people to become interested
in gardening and related activities. Everyone is invited to join!
Meetings are held monthly (with the
exception of July, August and December) on the second
Tuesday of the month, starting at 8:00 PM at
the Pickering Recreation Complex, 1867 Valley Farm Road, in the O'Brien
meeting rooms (use Arena entrance off Diefenbaker Court) (Link
